Ian Barbour, Film Maker
There are certain people you meet in your lifetime who with out even trying, manage to amaze you with their uncanny and remarkable creative abilities. Ian Barbour is such a person.
Ian is primarily a filmmaker, but to confine him to just film would be a great mistake. No matter what medium he works in, Ian always brings a unique and fresh perspective to his work. Underlined by a strange sense of humor (which reflects his curious personality) Ian produces fantastic works in film, music, photography, on the web, or in 3D digital Video.
Ian has been recognized by and invited to numerous film festivals around the world including the Vancouver Film festival, the Kiev International Film Festival, and the Taipei International Film Festival.
Ian studied Film and Fine Arts at the University of British Columbia.

YOUNG TURKEYS (Short Documentary, 16mm)
Ian and his crew decide to pick a turkey out from a local poultry farm, then slaughter and prepare it for their upcoming holiday season dinner. An unusual documentary that will either shock you with horror or make you laugh as they fumble to capture the entire experience on film.
